Phil is an experienced Board Advisor, working with founders from a number of social enterprises and for-profit organisations in the technology, property and education sectors.

Before becoming a Board Advisor, Phil worked for 30 years in the IT/Telecoms and the Property industry. During this time he held various national and international roles in IBM, Nokia, IWG (Regus/Spaces) and Bruntwood. He was formerly CEO for Bruntwood SciTech, a 50/50 joint venture with Legal & General, developing a network of innovation districts in the UK and based in Manchester.

He is a trustee for ADA, the National College for Digital Skills and for Speech Bubbles, a charity working with children with speech and language difficulties. He is also a Board Advisor to a number of spin-out companies from the University of Manchester. Phil is committed to working with organisations that have strong social and environmental drivers.
