One GM Community Fund Launched

Forever Manchester and the Greater Manchester’s Mayor’s Charity are working in partnership to distribute £100,000 to grassroots community groups in Greater Manchester to support those most affected by the Covid crisis
The One GM Community Fund, which is now open for applications, will support 100 community groups across the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.
Vanessa Haworth, Head of Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity said:
“We’re thrilled to be working with Forever Manchester to distribute these grassroots grants. The #OneGM funds were generously raised by the Greater Manchester community in response to the Covid crisis, truly embodying the Manc spirit. With £100,000 to give out we aim to reach 100 organisations, serving communities across the city region”.
The Fund will support community projects working in one of the following thematic areas: Families and individuals experiencing food poverty; Support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness; Community based mental health and well-being support.

“At Forever Manchester we believe that connected communities make stronger, happier communities, so we are delighted to be working with the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity to distribute this funding to support community groups across Greater Manchester.”
