"We were awarded funding to support our offer to individuals experiencing street homelessness in Manchester. The fund was utilised during the winter months and supported us, as a charity, to offer a greater response during the cold snaps and when the local authority triggered cold weather referrals."
The funding specifically helped us to operate during these times and allowed us to provide a more rounded approach, assisting individuals with hot food and food parcels for those individuals going into hotels.
Each year during the winter we offer support to individuals and to the Local Authority. We provide out of hours assistance to those most vulnerable in our city, as always, Manchester leads the way, especially when it comes to working in collaboration and the 3rd sector working with GMCA to give our guests a better experience when they are at their lowest" - Hendrix Lancaster - CEO - Coffee4Craig
