Challenging stereotypes: women's experience of homelessness

  • Hinterland Alcohol Free Bar and Cafe 16-20 Turner Street Manchester, England, M4 1BB United Kingdom (map)

International Women's Day 2025 looks to Accelerate Action for gender equality, calling for increased momentum and urgency in addressing systemic barriers and biases women face in personal and professional spheres.

So what does that mean for women's experience of homelessness?

Homelessness is not a 'one-size-fits-all' experience, nor is the support needed or solutions required.

Join Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity as we host a panel discussion to learn more about the work with women in the region, and how your business can get involved in our collective mission to end homelessness in Greater Manchester.

Register for your ticket below. Entry is FREE but a donation will be encouraged at the door.

Our panel is announced!

We will be joined by:

Chair: Fran Darlington-Pollock - CEO, Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity

  • Niamh Foley - Senior Policy and Project Officer - Homelessness, GMCA
