Artorius kick start charity partnership with a Bake Off

Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity has been announced as Artorius’ first corporate charity partnership. They’ve got things going with a Bake Off raising £1,880 for A Bed Every Night.

We were delighted to learn that Artorius Wealth Management were interested in partnering with us to help tackle homelessness in Greater Manchester. The Manchester-based company have committed to supporting Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity for a year through staff fundraising.

Fran Darlington-Pollock, Head of Charity, said:

"It’s really heartening when another local organisation recognises the impact they can have in tackling homelessness in Greater Manchester. Our corporate partnerships are so important to us as they are key in facilitating the work we do. That’s why we’re so pleased to be Artorius’ nominated charity for the next year. We can’t wait to see what other fundraisers they have in store".

Artorius got things going with a staff Bake Off at their offices. Not only did the cakes and treats look delicious, but they were able to raise a phenomenal £1,880 for A Bed Every Night. The funds raised will cover 62 night’s accommodation with food and full wrap-around support for people who would otherwise be rough sleeping.

Ian Marsh, Chairman at Artorius said:

"Artorius is committed to helping organisations that are doing good in the community and those helping the environment. We are so pleased to be able to work with GMMC who are dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness in Greater Manchester. Artorius employees voted to support this charity so we know that our two organisations are aligned to the same values".

We can’t wait to see what else is in store at Artorius and can’t thank them and our corporate partners enough for their commitment to Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity.

Artorius have also committed to sponsoring our inaugural charity dinner, taking place on 26th April. An Evening with Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity, will be held at the iconic venue, New Century:
